Sarah Altic, Owner
M.S., CCC-SLP
Sarah is a state-licensed, ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist with over 15 years of experience in a variety of settings including schools, home health, early intervention, and private practice working with children of all ages. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in speech pathology from Purdue University. Sarah is PROMPT-trained and enjoys working with children with apraxia, as well as speech sound disorders, and expressive language delays in toddlers. Sarah started Discover Speech Therapy in 2017 to meet the growing need for speech therapy services in our community and to create a welcoming, supportive place for both clients, families, and her team. She loves seeing her team and clients build lasting relationships and watching our clients become effective communicators!
When she’s not working, you can find her doing yoga, spending time in nature, or baking sourdough bread.
Nicola Holt
M.S., CCC-SLP
Nikki is a certified speech language pathologist licensed in Tennessee. She received her undergraduate and Master’s degrees from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She has worked mainly in the pediatric outpatient setting, and has experience working in the areas of speech and language skills, early intervention, and autism. In her free time, Nikki enjoys spending time hiking, mountain biking, and camping with her husband and children.
Lisa Morris
Front Office Coordinator
Lisa graduated from Carson-Newman University with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services. She has work experience in social work, program supervision, grant writing, and administrative work. As Front Office Coordinator, Lisa enjoys working with our team by assisting our clients and therapists with any documentation and administrative needs.
In her free time, Lisa enjoys playing guitar and piano, doing DIY projects around the house, practicing and teaching yoga, and spending time with her husband, 3 daughters, and 2 dogs.
Rosemary O’Brien
M.S., CCC-SLP
Rosemary is a certified speech language pathologist in Tennessee. She received her undergraduate degree from Murray State University and master’s degree from Purdue University in 2020. She has had experience working in the school and outpatient clinic settings. She enjoys working with children with early language skills, articulation, and fluency. She loves being part of a team with children and their family members, in order to help children continue learning and communicating effectively with others.
M.J. Jameson Wright
M.J. is a licensed speech-language pathologist holding the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence. She earned both her undergraduate and Master’s degrees from the University of Tennessee. Since graduating, she has lived and worked in Texas and Tennessee. Most of her work has been in school-based, homecare and outpatient clinic settings, supporting children ages birth to 12 years. M.J. is experienced in evaluating and treating clients with early language needs, autism, feeding disorders, and other speech and language needs. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dogs, as well as hiking and listening to podcasts.
